Our lab is focused on the biology of osteosarcoma, which is the most prevalent bone cancer effecting adolescents. Osteosarcoma is unique because unlike most other cancers it only metastasizes to the lungs. My research is focused on identifying and targeting the tumor-host interactions responsible for this predilection, in an attempt to prevent metastasis entirely.
