Research:

The primary focus of my research is elucidating the role of heart-specific N6-methyladenosine mRNA marks in modulating whole body metabolism and how this contributes to the development of metabolic diseases such as obesity. A secondary focus is exploring a mechanistic role for this modification in cardiac fibrosis and subsequent development of heart failure.
