Join us for MLS Seminar featuring Dr. Robert Hill, Associate Professor of Biological Sciences at Dartmouth!
Dr. Hill's lab studies the multicellular interactions between neurons and glia in the brain with a primary focus on the generation, plasticity, and regeneration of myelinating oligodendrocytes. They aim to understand how these cells behave in developmental and neurodegenerative contexts including multiple sclerosis, aging, and Alzheimer’s disease. Techniques include high-resolution optical imaging in combination with molecular labels, genetic manipulation, and sensors of cellular physiology.
