My laboratory is interested in understanding the neural mechanisms of the brain underlie hearing. We study the mechanisms of synaptic transmission and synaptopathy in mammalian brain, as well as neural information processing in the central auditory nervous system under normal hearing and hearing loss conditions due to aging and noise trauma.
