MCDB co-Director

We are pleased to announce that Tony Brown will be serving as co-Director of MCDB starting on Dec 1, 2015. Tony is a Professor in the Department of Neuroscience and a cell biologist who studies the cytoskeleton and intracellular transport in nerve cells.  His lab is located in Rightmire Hall on the West Campus. 

He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology and PhD in Biophysics from Kings College, University of London, and came to OSU in 2001.  He has been funded continuously by the NIH since 1996 and by the NSF since 2008.  A long time member of the American Society for Cell Biology, he currently serves as “ASCB Ambassador” for OSU. 

MCDB is excited to have him co-Direct the program with Dawn Chandler.
