Congratulations to MK McCulloch for being accepted to the 2026 Stanford Brain Organogenesis Workshop! She received the NCH Wellstone Center Fellowship to support her attendance to the course.

MK was selected to a cohort of 20 participants out of hundreds of applications.

This one week-long practical course will provide training to participants in 3D in vitro study of neural development and disease modeling. Topics will focus on advanced assays and include among others: human stem cell maintenance, generation of 3D neural organoids and assembloids, quality controls, genetic engineering, functional imaging, electrophysiology, transcriptomics, interrogation of complex phenotypes, etc.
