Rocio Zaldivar Receives Daniel Wolf Prize at the 51st Annual Retroviruses Meeting

Congratulations to Rocio Zaldivar for receiving the Daniel Wolf Prize for best poster at the 51st Annual Retroviruses meeting in Cold Spring Harbor, NY. Rocio presented her thesis project which aims to determine the role(s) of two intragenic DAN elements in HTLV-1 pathogenesis.

The Daniel Wolf Prize was established to honor the memory of Dr. Daniel Wolf, a gifted retrovirologist and regular contributor to the Cold Spring Harbor Retrovirus Meeting. The prize serves both to recognize his scientific achievements and to celebrate his life. It is awarded annually for the best poster presented at the Cold Spring Harbor Retrovirus Meeting and includes a cash award.
