My lab is focused on prenatal stress, the microbiome, and the immune system during pregnancy. Specifically, we investigate the impact of prenatal stress on maternal microbes, and work to transduce how alterations in the periphery influence the developing central nervous system. The lab conducts both rodent and clinical studies.
