Research:

Pancreatic cancer is one of the most aggressive cancer types with a poor 5-year survival rate of 9.8%. The standard care of therapy is cancer resection and chemotherapy with not much overall benefit. My research is focused towards understanding how active metabolites from dietary compounds can target pancreatic cancer and its tumor microenvironment and hopefully build a therapeutic strategy that targets multiple aspects of pancreatic cancer.
